Associate Pastor & Teaching Elder — Tre Smith
Tre joined the Redeemer staff in July, 2008, after spending four years planting a PCA church in Danville, VA. Tre met his wife, April, at Mercer University in Macon, GA, and they were married in 1987. Tre then spent several years in social work before moving to Orlando to attend Reformed Theological Seminary in 1991. After graduating in 1994, Tre served as an associate pastor in Fredericksburg, VA, for seven years, as a senior pastor in Waynesboro, GA, for three years, and most recently as a solo church planter in Danville, VA. Tre and April have four children, Bradley (21), Whitney (19), Timothy (14), and Jacob (13). After homeschooling for almost 16 years, Tre and April now have only Jacob schooled at home, Timothy at a local high school, Whitney in cosmetology school, and Bradley in college. April enjoys photography and music; Tre is an avid outdoorsman and baseball coach.
