Beloved in our unfailing Savior,
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper this Sunday, followed by our fellowship meal. Last month it was a huge success because so many of you brought so much food. THANK YOU! Please do so again!
Our prayer meeting is tonight at the Mateer’s home (528-3814: 222 S. Princeton Ave.) at 7 p.m.
The next meeting for Leadership Training is this Saturday at 8 a.m. at Mike’s home.
Anyone who would like to send a “shoe box” of items to help with relief in Southeast Asia can do so through Samaritan’s Purse by calling Linda Blair at 528-4649. Trinity PCA in Charlottesville is partnering with this project and gave me her number as a local contact.
We have been invited to join several area churches, along with Liberty University, to pray for our city for one month. Awake 24/7 is organizing round-the-clock prayer in a room at the Wingate Hotel. Heather Moga, one of our worshipers, is coordinating sign-up slots for any at Redeemer who may want to participate (praying for an hour in the room at Wingate). Guidelines for prayer needs are provided. Please contact Heather if you’d like to take an hour slot on Saturdays (beginning this Saturday). (582-1454)
We are delighted to have children stay with their parents through the service. If you sense your child could be a distraction to others around you, or has a little fussy spell, please use the nursery. Thanks for your consideration for others!
Thanks to the Trivits for hosting a wonderful open house last Sunday!
The last new members class meets Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Sharrett’s home.
May grace fall mightily upon Christ’s church.
Mike
