Dear Redeemer family,
Our prayer meeting is Thursday at 7 pm at the Mateer’s home.
CrossTraining (jr. and sr. high) meets this Sunday at the Mascher’s from 6-7:30 pm.
Any of you who have been interviewed but not joined the church may do so this Sunday.
Please bring snacks and treats for the exam goodie bags we’re providing for our college students. Homemade cookies can be frozen (bring them to church or Barbara’s home). This Sunday all items must be collected. Would you like to help put them together? Please contact Barbara Kelly at 525-2034. We’re going to make 100 bags!
This Sunday we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together, followed by our pot-luck fellowship meal. PLEASE bring lots of food. Last time it was very successful! We think it’s critical to feed hungry college students!
IMPORTANT!!
During our luncheon Sunday after worship we will have a presentation on the current options for managing our growth. We’ll give you pros and cons, as well as costs for various options. We’ll answer any questions we can. One of the options is the place Blue Ridge Community Church currently meets on Old Forest Rd., to the left of the old Nissan dealership. (Bargains and More is right next door) I invite any of you who would like to see the inside of this facility to meet me there on Saturday morning at 8:30. One of the pastors will show us around, and then we’ll pray together. We’ll ask the whole church family to pray the following week as we seek to discern the wisest course of action for the church.
