Redeemer Reminders
Oct 6th, 2005
Blessings to the Redeemer family,
Did you pick up last Sunday your copy of “How will I be discipled at
Redeemer?” This is a strong plug for involvement in a small group.
Look in the bulletin in the future for small blurbs on how you can pray
for world missions.
Pray for opportunities to ask others to worship with us at Redeemer.
The next two weeks we’ll finish 1 John 5.
Liberty students seeking opportunities for Christian service hours: we
have some babysitting needs when small groups meet (particularly Julie
Brown, 316-9194), and other things as well. Can you spare a bit of time
to help the sound team, or set-up team? Let us know!
It’s not too late to join the new members class Sunday morning
(introduction to our doctrine). If you miss, CDs are available.
We have two great classes for adults: one on parenting and one on the
body and koinonia.
If you’ve had trouble parking, let us know.
Family event (barbecue and games) for families with their junior/senior
high children: Sunday, October 16 at the large pavilion at Peaksview
Park. Meat and rolls provided, you potluck the rest. Starts at 4, ends
at dusk. Enter from Wiggington Rd. near the 501 bypass. Call Karen
Mascher (525-3024) with questions and RSVP.
Grace and peace be yours in fullest measure,
Mike
