Redeemer Reminders

20 Dec News & Events | Comments Off

Families and friends,

Lot’s going on right now at Redeemer.

We praise God for the safe arrival of Benjamin Gassler, born to Lori and
Chris on Monday around noon.

If you have opportunity over the holidays, drive to the property we are
seeking to purchase and walk it. Pray over it. Ask God to magnify His
name through our lives in this community. Take 221 west to Forest. Go
south (left) on 811 (Thomas Jefferson) to the first light (at Bateman’s
Bridge Rd). Park on the grass on the right side of the road. The
property is the wooded section on the right hand side.

Please continue to pray for our ministry together, unity, and
opportunities for the gospel as we seek a first permanent home. The
elders are jealous for families to pray together for God’s provision and
direction, and for each of the small groups and ministry teams to pray
regularly for these things.

If you have completed the new members class and would like to join the
church, please notify me in the next two weeks so we can set up your
membership interview. 525-6563

Our Christmas eve service is at 5 pm on Saturday.

Worship on Christmas day is at 10:30 for one hour.

If you are a Republican and live in the city of Lynchburg or part of
Madison Heights, here is an opportunity to exercise your responsibility
as a good resident of this earthly city. Tomorrow, Wednesday, December
21, you can participate in a special primary election. Two candidates,
Robert Garner and Mike Harrington, are running in a special primary mass
meeting for the House of Delegates in the 23rd district. Registration
for this mass meeting begins at 6 pm, and the doors will lock at 7 pm,
when the election process will begin.
PLEASE NOTE: Redeemer endorses neither candidates for office nor
political parties. If we knew about a Democrat primary, we would tell
you about it too.

Rich grace be yours through Christ our King,
Mike
