FOREST PLANT planning meeting!
Please come to the multi-purpose room at the JRDS this Sunday at 10am if you are interested in the Forest church plant. We really need to see how many people we will have at launch and to divide up all the tasks to make it happen.
PARKING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
With the return of our college students, we will be needing 3 volunteers to help coordinate parking for approximately 30-minutes each Sunday from 10:30-11:05 am. If you can volunteer your time for this service please contact: Brian Knopp at (434) 386-2225 or email knopphouse at comcast dot net.
OFFICER ELECTION THIS SUNDAY
Will we take the last few minutes of each service this week to call a congregational meeting for the purpose of electing one ruling elder (David Simms) and three deacons (Greg Yates, Mike Vass, Moose Pierce) to ordained office.
