We will have a joint (Lynchburg and Forest campuses) Christmas Eve service at 5pm at the JRDS on the 24th.
This Sunday the deacons will take a special offering for their mercy fund during worship. This is to help serve a number of folks in our body who are struggling financially right now. Please pray and consider how you might give above and beyond your normal tithe as a thank offering to Jesus for all he has done for you. Be sure to mark your check or “cash” as mercy fund.
It is especially appropriate that we have this deaconal focus this week as we ordain Russ Darnell and Chris Gassler to the office of deacon.
