Hello to all,
The second preview service yesterday had minor sound difficulties again, but better than before. We simplified and streamlined a few things that overworked us last time and seemed better prepared as a team. We were not as exhausted either. The turn-out was smaller than Easter, but still fairly encouraging. Overall we made an improvement. Thanks for your continued prayer support.

New Redeemer Ministry to Women of the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center:
Do you have a heart for ministry to the disadvantaged and down-trodden women who have been blessed by the services of the Blue Ridge Pregnancy center? A few people from Redeemer, led by Debbie Perdew, have been ministering to a group of these women for quite some time now, under the wings of the Pregnancy Center. However the group and it’s needs have out-grown the limits of the ministry of the Pregnancy Center itself. The Pregnancy Center has given Redeemer permission and encouragement to move the group out from the under the auspices of the Center into the care of Redeemer, and we are looking for volunteers with a heart for these hurting and broken women to help with this new Redeemer ministry.
The ministry currently is comprised of a parenting class called “Shepherding a Child’s Heart,” a playgroup, one-on-one mentoring, and other events like baby-showers and meals for new moms. We need help in the following areas:
–childcare
–transportation
–mentoring
–food
–overall organization/adminstration (phone calls, email, logistics, organization of other volunteers, etc). We are also looking for someone to be an ambassador, representing the Center at Redeemer.
