Teaching Elder & Pastor — Mike Sharrett
Mike came to the Lynchburg area from Texas in March, 2004, but hails as a native Virginian, having grown up in Fairfax County. After graduating from Gettysburg College (1978), Mike and Janice were married, moved to Charlottesville for graduate school at U.Va.,
and began a wonderful spiritual transformation at Trinity PCA. During his years as a career counselor at U.Va., Mike sensed a call to ministry. Following three years on staff at Trinity, the Sharrett’s moved to Philadelphia to attend Westminster Seminary (M.Div.). They returned to Trinity (1988) until 1992, when the Lord called Mike to plant a PCA church in Ft. Worth.
