A Covenant of Membership Redeemer Presbyterian Church

Lynchburg/Forest, VA

I,__________________________________________________, covenant before the Lord to be faithful to the following commitments, as Jesus Christ gives me grace:

  1. To seek places of service to employ my spiritual gifts.
  2. To seek to bring others into the church.
  3. To support the work of the church with my resources.

I have studied and embrace the following membership questions:

  1. Do you acknowledge yourself to be a sinner in the sight of God, justly deserving His displeasure, and without hope save in His sovereign mercy?
  1. Do you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and Savior of sinners, and do you receive and rest upon Him alone for salvation as He is offered in the Gospel?
  1. Do you now resolve and promise, in humble reliance upon the grace of the Holy Spirit, that you will endeavor to live as becomes a follower of Christ?
  1. Do you promise to support the church in its worship and work to the best of your ability?
  1. Do you submit yourself to the government and discipline of the church, and promise to promote its purity and peace?

I anticipate the Lord’s blessings as I give myself to Jesus Christ through commitment to the family of His people in Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
