Over the years, through various ministries and experiences, Dave and Chip Baggett have developed a strong desire to serve God through multi-cultural church planting.  They have a growing vision for justice, mercy, and reconciliation among the nations.  The Lord has provided a fitting location for this ministry in Metro Philadelphia where there are thousands of immigrants and refugees.  Aside form being a diverse area, East Delaware County is heavily populated, has few churches, and has significant physical needs.  The Baggetts share this vision with a diverse leadership team.

The Baggetts moved to the Philadelphia area in the summer of 2008.  They live in Alden, which is approximately 2 miles from the city line of west Philadelphia.  The Lord blessed them with a great home that works for their family and also has tremendous potential for a meeting site for their start-up church with a large great-room addition off the back.

Initial plans are for a investigative Bible study and a weekly prayer meeting.  Dave will begin networking and evangelizing after he studies for ordination.

Dave and Chip are originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia.  They have been married for ten years and have three children.  They are both alumni of James Madison University and attended Covenant Seminary where Dave earned a Masters of Divinity.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

- for transition to quickly resolve and progress toward ordination and the initial stages of church planting

- that support will continue to come in and that people will honor their pledges

- for the family to meet friends and find ways to connect outside the home

- for out Bible study and prayer meeting
